netcup is part of the Anexia group of companies. Other companies of that group based in Austria, as well as a further data centre location in Vienna, Austria, may be involved in operation, infrastructure and support services. Processing therefore takes place exclusively within the European Union; no transfer to a third country occurs.

Server log data

When this website is accessed, no access logs are created on our server. No log files are generated there containing the page accessed, the time of access, the volume of data transferred, browser and operating system details, the referrer URL or the IP address.

Cloudflare (network security and spam protection)

This website uses services provided by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, c/o Mindspace, 80331 Munich, Germany, as part of the Cloudflare group of companies (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). All traffic is routed through Cloudflare’s servers before it reaches our hosting provider. In doing so, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details of your request in order to fend off attacks and ensure availability.

In addition, we use “Cloudflare Turnstile” in our contact form. This service checks whether the input originates from a human being and protects us against automated misuse. Your IP address as well as information about your browser and device are transmitted to Cloudflare in the process.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the security and availability of our website and in protection against misuse. The processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. A transfer to the United States may take place; it is based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission and on supplementary measures.

If you send us a message via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide (name, email address, subject, message) in order to handle your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering your request.

Your message is stored in our email mailbox. This mailbox is operated on our behalf by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Your data is not passed on to third parties for their own purposes.

The data is deleted as soon as your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Processing of incoming messages with AI support

To process incoming messages, we use an AI-assisted system. The provider is Anthropic, PBC, 548 Market Street, PMB 90375, San Francisco, California 94104, USA.

The assistant accesses our business email mailbox and helps us to record incoming messages, assign them to the relevant subject area, forward them to the responsible unit within our company, and comply with statutory or contractual deadlines — in particular for data protection requests, for which the General Data Protection Regulation provides short response periods. In doing so, the sender details, the subject line and the content of your message may be processed.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed at concluding or performing a contract, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR where the processing serves to fulfil our legal obligations, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in handling your request promptly, completely and within the applicable deadlines.

The processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. A transfer to the United States takes place; it is based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which form part of that agreement. Use of your content to train the provider’s models is contractually excluded.

No automated decision about your request takes place. The assistant prepares and sorts; every substantive decision and every reply to you is made by a human being. There is therefore no automated decision-making in individual cases within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

This website uses fonts that are delivered from our own server. No connection to third-party servers is established, and no data is transmitted to third parties.

Web analytics (Simple Analytics)
